Staircases Facing the Front Door

A common question from clients is about the Feng Shui implications of a staircase facing their front door.  From a Feng Shui perspective it's generally unfavourable to have a staircase facing your front door, as this symbolically represents energy (Qi) and wealth rushing down the staircase and out of the home.

Electro-magnetic fields (EMFs) & electro-magnetic radiation (EMR) are buzz words amongst Building Biologists and modern Feng Shui Consultants.  Electro-magnetic fields come from energy produced by an electrical current.  This can come from sources such as electrical equipment and cabling.

Ever wondered if you could improve your love life by installing mirrors on your bedroom ceiling?  I can't really comment on the response to 'seeing yourself' from various angles, but from a Feng Shui perspective mirrors in bedrooms are not a great idea...assuming that you want a happy and harmonious relationship!
